Blogging frustrations!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to pop in a minute and say hello. I hope this post finds everyone doing well. I've missed talking with ya'll. I've been trying to get my blog switched over to Drupal but things aren't going very well at all. I've all but abandoned the idea of being self hosted on Drupal and just being self hosted on Wordpress. I just have some quick questions I'd like to ask my fellow Wordpress bloggers a couple of questions. 1. Who do you host with (I don't want GoDaddy! I had a bad experience with them). 2.  If you were on Blogger before Wordpress; did you have someone transfer your blog over or did you do it yourself? 3. What is your favorite Wordpress theme?

Thanks for you help! I really appreciate everyone's love, kindness and unfailing support! Have a great week!

Roll-in, Roll-in, Roll-in

I don't know if other curvy girls like me have noticed this phenomenon.  In fact this phenomenon has turned from curious to down right annoying. What I'm talking about is my shorts rolling up on my inner thigh.
I don't know if this is a curvy girl problem, a running shorts problem or what. I only wear shorts when I'm running/working out so that's when I notice it. It'so frustrating though! It seems like it always happens at the worse time: in the middle of a workout,  when you run into a friend on the trails, pass a cute guy-that's when it strikes.
Please tell me I'm not alone in dealing with this irritation. Will it ever go away!?

10 things I've learned about or from running so far....

1. You are no in competition with anyone else. Only yourself.
2. I really don't like being out in the Texas summer heat. It's to darn hot! Even early in the morning or nightfall!
3. Days that contain running are infinitely better than the ones that do not.
4. Slow and steady is best.
5. Good running shoes are a necessity!
6. You have to find your own motivation/reason to run. Mine is to be healthier and happier.
7.  There were times when there was more than thighs clapping and even now my lil tummy can do the same thing- Yikes! At least I have a Cheer Squad? LOL- No serioulsy sometimes you just gotta laught it off and Keep On Running!
8. You got to have music that moves you.
9. Don't give up if you don't see results right away. Every smart change you make is affecting you in ways you've never imagined.
10. Some days you just have to focus on putting one foot in front of the otherpost signature

Frustrations.........

Today has been a Monday-Tuesday if there ever was one. Let me clarify. It is technical Tuesday but since I was off for Labor Day yesterday it feels like Monday. First of all, I went off without my umbrella and I got caught in the middle of a down pour. I eneded up running around town wet. I had just gone to the gym and gotten one shower but I guess I needed another one *sigh*. After that no major hangups till I got home and got ready to sew. First of all, my sewing machine wasn't sewing properly. I couldn't get the tension right. I am using a sewing machine made in the 70's and it won't sew properly unless the tension is just right. Well in the process of trying to adjust the tension I broke my needle. No biggie right? Well I cannot get the screw/bolt thingy that holds the needle to come loose. I will have to wait till Matty gets home and see if he has some small pliers. That's not the worst part.
I am looking at my pattern. Part of it doesn't make sense. It's talking about putting one leg inside of the other to sew the crotch! Witch makes no sense at all to me. I asked my mom and it didn't make sense to her either. She's a seasoned sewer and didn't think it made any sense either. Then I found out that instead of sewing the legs together first I was supposed to overcast! I thought that was what sewing was but no it means to serge the seams.
I am so frustrated with my pajamas! It doesn't seem like it would be that hard but it is! I am thinking that maybe I should put this down and start with something simpler but then i don't want to give up. I tried to ask someone on a sewing website (BTY the Stitcher's Guild Rocks! http://artisanssquare.com) and they only confused me more!
I think that I am just gonna put my needle down for tonight and hope things look better tomorrow!
