Book Review: The Six-Liter Club

Book Review: The Six-Liter Club

I am reviewing this book for Glass Road Public Relations
This story is about Camille Weller. She is the first African-American attending in the trauma service of the Medical College of Virginia.  She has to deal with prejudices of her profession along along with overcoming her dark past.  Her past threatens to overtake her future.

This book is a delight to read. It deals with some serious topics such as overcoming one's past and prejudices one faces.  The story is interlaced with humor and romance so it does not become too heavy or intense. Once I got started reading the book I could not put it down. It was an easy read but still realistic.
The overall message of the novel was very inspiring.  The novel encourages you that God's love is the greatest love of all and that your past does not have to dictate your future.  I would definitely recommend this book. I look forward to reading more books by Harry Kraus I would give the book 5 stars out of 5.

Book Review: The Busy Mom's Guide To A Happy, Organized Home-Not Just for Mom's

Book Review-The Busy Mom's Guide to A Happy, Organized Home-Not Just for Moms!

I am reviewing this book for Tyndale Media
So much to do and so little time. Well help is available thanks to the new book by Kathy Peel. The Busy Mom's Guide to a Happy, Organized Home offers organizational tips and strategies.  The book is divided into seven topics: time and schedule, home and property, food, family and friends, finances, special events, and self management. The author states that all the numerous task for managing a family can be divided into these seven topics. The subtitle states fast solutions to hundreds of every day dilemmas and it doesn't disappoint.

I found this book to be wonderful and very useful. It is organized to be a quick read. The information is presented in a logical no nonsense manner. She presents moms as not merely mothers but family managers. The information in the book is useful to any adult who has a home not just mothers.
