About the Book:
About Ragged Hope: "What a beautiful book ! So readable, the pages practically turned themselves. Ragged Hope is filled with stories; written for those who are weary, worn and wounded. It offers each of us exactly that-hope that God can do a mighty work even with those of us who carry the ugliest of scars."

My thoughts about the book: I really enjoyed reading this book. It didn't beat around the bush about the fact that sometimes life is hard and sometimes it's because of other peoples choices. What this book did do was offer hope. Hope that God is good and He's still on the throne even in the hard places of life. I really like how the book was broke down into sections. Each section dealt with a particular topic. These topics ranged from raising your grandchildren, being a single parent, loved ones having Alzheimer's, dealing with trust issues, and many other topics. The book has a reflection questions at the end of each section. These questions help you think the issues on a deeper level. I also like the "if you know a...." section at the end of each chapter. This section talks about how you can minister to people going through these tough times. I wish the book had a index so you could look up a story by topic it addresses. I recommend this book to anyone who would like gain a better understanding about what is going on in the lives of others around them and ways they can help them.
