T-T-F-N

I love Tigger. I always have since I was a little girl. He's so full of energy and so comfortable being himself. He also says one of my favorite sayings. "Ta Ta For Now" or T-T-F-N. It's his way of telling his friends that he'll be gone for a while but he'll be back. My nephew is getting married this weekend. My mom, dad and sister will be coming into town to spend a couple of weeks with us. So, I won't be on as much as normal. Please let me know if you are interested in the Pride and Prejudice discussion group. The deadline is March 17 @ 10 pm.  So to my blogging buddies. I say "Ta, Ta For Now!"

Have I lost my mind!?

I noticed something last week when I was reading people's responses to Abigail's blog parade. A lot of people said they would like to be Jane from Pride and Prejudice. I've never read this book. I love reading. However, it's always so much more fun to read and talk about a book with friends. I was wondering if you my dear blog readers, would like to read Pride and Prejudice with me? My idea is to read some each week and discuss it weekly.   If this is not for you that's fine. I just want to know if this is something you might be interested in. You have one week till March 17 at 10 pm to let me know if you are interested.   Either way I am going to read the book. But it so much more fun to do with friends.

books, books, books.

I love books. I've been reading books since before I was born. I recently noticed that some people write book reviews on their blog. Sweet I thought more book worms like me. Then I noticed that some people had buttons on their blog that talked about getting books for free. I was hooked. Here's what I discovered. There are several  companies that will give bloggers free books. All the bloggers have to do is write and post a review of the book on their blog. Here' are the companies that are participating in blog book reviews. I signed up for all of them but I have only heard back from booksneeze so far.

I am very excited. The first book I am going to review is called Essentials for Life-Your Back-to-Basics Guide to What Matters Most By Marcia Ford. I can't wait to get it and start reading. Do you know of any other "freebies" you can get by blogging? If so I 'd love to know. Keep an eye out for my book review-coming soon! 

What? Really?

I need your opinion on something my fellow bloggers? Do you blog for money? The reason I am asking is because of my husband. I recently told him I was up to 27 followers.  He replied "Cool. How many followers do you need before you start getting paid for you blog?"  I was speechless. I'd never considered blogging for money. I blog just out of my love for writing and communicating with others. He did get me to thinking though.  Would it be so bad to earn a little extra income doing something I enjoy? I'm going to have to look into it. I just wanted to see if any you earn a little extra income from you blog?
