Book Review: Jade and the Tooth Fairy by Jacinta Zachariah

About the Book:

A magical tale about a little girl called Jade who stays up to meet the Tooth Fairy and goes to fairyland with her. She is also in for a pleasant surprise when she finds out what happens to all the teeth the Tooth Fairy takes!

My thoughts about the book:
Jade and the Tooth Fairy is a delightful childrens book. It written with such charm and imagaination. I had never thought of what the tooth fairy does with the teeth after she collects them. The illustartions look hand drawn and add to the uniqueness of the story. I highly reommend this book for any child about 5-6 who is courious about the tooth fairy.

Book Review: New Wings a Novel by Donna Stanley

I am reviewing this book for GlassRoad Public Relations  for honest review. and received no compensation for a favorable review.

About the Book:
Olivia Stanton always knew that the Bible says guardian angels exist. But, in all her seventeen years, she assumed they only showed up when people were dying or needed rescue from sudden disaster. Her assumption is shattered with the appearance of her own guardian angel - in the form of good-looking Mike, no less. As Olivia gets to know Mike, more and more of her misconceptions about the spiritual realms are revealed. And, as her spiritual eyes are opened to the presence of angels all around, she'll find they can be good or evil.

My thoughts about the book:
This book will change the way you think! It opens your eyes to spiritual warfare and helps you to become more aware things going on around you. This book shows people how prayers impact the spiritual world in ways we can't see or imagine. This book is riveting once you start reading it you will not be able to put it down. This novel is geared toward young adults as an alternative to books about vampires, werewolves, witches and demons. The novel does a great job of dealing with the paranormal genre in a positive manner. This book is a great read with an engaging story and interesting characters.

About the Author:
Donna Stanley lives in the beautiful Endless Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband, Jonathan, and their teenage daughter, Olivia. She attended Philadelphia Biblical University, Moody Bible Institute, and Mansfield University, where she studied angelology, demonology, and the anthropology of religion. She was a youth leader for ten years and a pastor's wife for sixteen years. She now serves as a young adult mentor and leader in her local church.

Book Review: Undeniably Yours By Becky Wade

I am reviewing this book for Litfuse Public Relations. I was was given a free copy of this book in exchange for a review of it.
About the Book:
About Undeniably Yours:

When Meg Cole's father dies unexpectedly, she's forced to return home to Texas and to Whispering Creek Ranch to take up the reins of his empire. The last thing she has the patience or the sanity to deal with? Her father's Thoroughbred racehorse farm. She gives its manager, Bo Porter, six months to close the place down.

Bo knows he ought to resent the woman who's determined to take from him the only job he ever wanted. But instead of anger, Meg evokes within him a profound desire to protect. The more time he spends with her, the more he longs to overcome every obstacle that separates them and earn her love.

Just when Meg realizes she can no longer deny the depth of her feelings for Bo, their fragile bond is broken by a force from Meg's past. Can their relationship-and their belief that God can work through every circumstance-survive?

My Thoughts About the Book:
I was hesitant to review this book because I feel that most romance books are "read one, read them all" types of novels. However, I couldn't have been more wrong about Undeniably Yours.  I really like how the author makes the character's romance real. It's not a story full of "they live happy ever after". Her hero and heroine go through hard times and they get through these hard times together. I like that the story line is real and honest and has spiritual undertones. The twist at the end will surprise you. I highly recommend reading Undeniably Yours if you are looking for a superb, enjoyable, not your every day run of the mill romance.

About the Author:
Becky Wade is a graduate of Baylor University. As a newlywed, she lived for three years in a home overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, as well as in Australia, before returning to the States. A mom of three young children, Becky and her family now live in Dallas, Texas.

The Cat that God Sent Book Review

About the Book: About The Cat That God Sent:

Meet Petey, your not-so-average cat-on a mission from God

Disillusioned young pastor, Jake Wilkerson, has just arrived at his new assignment in the small rural church of Coudersport, Pennsylvania. Also new on the scene is Petey, a cat of unknown origins and breed-but of great perception.

As Jake sets about doing the business of ministry, Petey's continued interference brings chaos to the community of curiously off and eccentric people-residents like the faith-avoiding veterinarian Sally Grainger and Tassy, a young runaway with a secret. An expert at hiding his fears, Jake wonders if all this-and the cat to boot-is more than he can handle. What is Petey's real "mission"? Perhaps something larger than Jake---or even Petey---can possibly know.

My thoughts about the book:
This is a delightful book. Jim Kraus does an amazing job of creating a story that's filled with humor, drama, action and romance. This story shows that God can use unique circumstances and people. The plot has a surprise twist. Once I got into this book I couldn't put it down!  I look forward to reading other books by Jim Kraus.

About the Author:
Jim Kraus grew up in Western Pennsylvania and has spent the last twenty years as a vice president of a major Christian publishing house. He has written more than twenty books and novels, including the best-selling The Dog That Talked to God. He and his family live outside of Chicago with a sweet miniature Schnauzer and an ill-tempered Siberian cat named (of course) Petey. www.jimkraus.com
