You made me mad-Writer's Workshop #4

You made me Mad!-Writer's Workshop #4

I was trying to help
But clearly that isn't what you felt
Frustrated, irritated, annoyed
That I could do something so simple
so wrong
Who knew when making your lunch
You wouldn't want the pickles on top

I tried to help you out that night
After a long day filled with toil and strife.
Never again will fix your lunch
Now you can go eat out with
the rest of the bunch.

Ultimate Honey Do List

My Ultimate Honey Do List

Mama's Losin' It
I love my husband. He's not perfect but he's close enough to it for me. There are just a few things I would like for him to take care of. Here's my top ten things I would like for him to do. My ultimate honey do list.
1. Finish his shop.
2. After he finishes his shop, get all his tools and equipment out of the house and put it in the shop. Especially his huge tool box that is in my office!

3. Put a fence around our property. Well I'm not so sure about that now. We have a new friend who likes to hang out in our yard. You can see him/her here.

4. Go through his things and decided what he needs and what he doesn't. What he doesn't need have him take to Goodwill. I am married to a chronic pack rat.

5. Paint the whole house. I've been trying for the last year to get him to help paint!

6.  Give me back rubs frequently.

7. Hire me a maid to come in here once a month and clean the place. I do it the rest of the time but I need a break on occasion.

8. Using whatever method you deem necessary (as long as you get away with it), procure a rather large suitcase full of cash. This should be at the top of the list!

9. Clean up all the spider and bug guts on the walls where you’ve massacred the little creepy crawlies.  I’m eternally grateful for your bugicidal tendencies but I would rather the smeared reminders be gone as well.

10. Get the tractor finished. I want to have a winter garden.

What would be on your ultimate honey do list?

30 Summertime Vows

30 Summertime Vows-
Writer's Workshop Promp #1

It's hard to believe that June is almost half over! August will be here before I'm ready for it. So as way to get everything done that I want; I am going to make a list of 30 vowels that I want to accomplish this summer. I will give you an update of how many things I actually get done in August.

30 Things I Vow To Do This Summer
1. Get outside often. Even though it's stinking hot!
2. Go to the beach
3. Eat seafood as much as possible
4. Get my closet cleaned out and organized
5. Spend time with my niece Kaylin
6. Relax
7. Check out the farmer's market in the area
8. Scrapbook
9. Finish my spring cleaning. I know, I'm a little late. Better late than not at all though.
10. Read a lot
11. Go blackberry picking
12. Finish my sewing project from last summer.
13. Go swimming
14. Sleep late
15. Get back to my artwork (painting, drawing, clay)
16. Find new recipes and try them out.
17. Spend less time on the computer.
18. Hang the laundry out on the line.
19. Love, and enjoy my four legged babies
20. Take more photos

27.Eat outside
28. Dance in the rain. I know it sounds crazy but it's so much fun!

What vows would you make for the summer?

I got the idea for this post from the Writer's Workshop hosted by Mama Kat. You can find out more information about Writer's Workshop here.
