Yes!

I got a pleasant surprise yesterday. When I was the hallway yesterday at school, Suzie Teacher walked up to me and asked if I was going to be her sub today. Yes I said a little anxiously. Suzie teacher had never said anything about me filling in for her before  except some complaints because I didn't get all the work she had left done. So when she shouted "Yes!" in the hall way I was shocked. Apparently my good work has not gone unnoticed.  :) Now, I will be the first to admit that I am not the perfect substitute by any means but I do try to follow the teachers lesson plans and make sure the kids don't run wild. Then Suzie teacher teacher told me she had a challenging class-no biggie. I had already heard and the first graders this year were very challenging. I can handle anything with the Lord and it helps to keep one my grandma's sayings in mind-"Old age and treachery will always win out over youth and inexperience!" :)
