Ode to Granny
Ode to Granny
I always knew this day would come
I never dreamed it would come so soon.
101 years of humor, wisdom and love
Now you are dancing in Heaven above
Body worn and weary
Still your mind was sharp as a tack.
How was I to know that, that kiss would be the last
You will live on inside of me
in thought, word and deed.
For now, So long Granny
I know I'll see you again.
