Simple Woman's Day Book
Hello everyone. I know it's been a while since I been on here. I am posting using format from the Simple Woman's Daybook blog. The format is very simple but also informative. I am working on a couple of holiday post and I hope to have them posted soon.
Love, peace, and candy cane treats! :)
December 10th
FOR TODAY... from Carol's Daybook
Outside my window... windy and cold. The sun came out a little bit today
I am thinking... things could be better but then things could also be worse.
I am thankful for... friends who pray
I am wearing... t-shirt, jeans, tennies and smile
I am remembering... how it snowed here almost a week ago. I wish it would snow again.but then I do live in Southeast Texas so it's probably not like to happen again this year.
I am going... to wrap presents and make more cookies. Maybe meet up with some friends for coffee.
I am currently reading...Gone With The Wind-it's a really great book but very long.
I am hoping... to get some work . It's hard wanting to be able to work and not being able to find any.
On my mind...The holidays. Missing loved ones who live far away or in heaven. Going to the Dr. again on Friday-wondering if we are ever going to get things straightened out.
Noticing that...Jesus really is in control. I just have to remember to give things over to Him-and not take them back.
Pondering these words... "If each moment is sacred--a time and place where we encounter God-- life itself is sacred." Jean M. Bloomquist
From the kitchen... mexican wedding cookies, chili, and fudge. I love to cook-can't you tell! :)
Around the house...holdiay stuff that needs to be put out or packed away.
One of my favorite things~ loving on Rosie and Sophie.
From my picture journal..
